Temporary HR and Admin Assistant

Estimated Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum based on 3 days per week

This Temporary HR and Admin Assistant role provides an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Chesterfield. As a key member of the administrative team, you will be responsible for providing support to HR and administrative operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day processes while covering a range of tasks across HR, accounting, and document management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Record and track staff holidays, absences, and sickness, ensuring up-to-date records are maintained.
  2. Process and manage staff expenses, ensuring they are appropriately recorded and submitted.
  3. Ensure new Health & Safety policies are followed and record training completion for all relevant staff.
  4. Process invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
  5. Maintain and organize shared files and documents, ensuring easy access and proper filing.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR support, administration, or similar roles.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Sage Payroll or similar payroll systems.
  • Accuracy in processing expenses, invoices, and other HR documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
