Learning Support Professional

We are seeking a Learning Support Professional to support pupils with special educational needs across the curriculum at St Mary's Catholic High School.
Job DescriptionInitially a 12-month temporary contract for 25 hours a week over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. Term time only (39 weeks including INSET days). Annual salary: £16,421 pro rata.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils with special educational needs in various subjects.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection.
- Form good relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
Requirements:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills with 5 GCSEs Grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
