About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support various clinical teams in the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Assist with patient assessments, consultations, and handover appointments
  • Manage clinic room equipment, including powered wheelchairs and hoists
  • Monitor stock levels and order equipment, consumables, and patient information leaflets
  • Develop and implement a hand hygiene audit program to ensure compliance with Trust policy
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, families, and external stakeholders
  • Support home visits for manual handling and chaperone
  • Assist with personal care for Re-enablement services, including Prosthetics
Person Specification
  • GCSE A-C English and Maths or equivalent
  • Experience of working within a healthcare setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Full, clean UK driving license and willingness to drive a large work vehicle
