The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling the brand and services, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets while effectively managing key accounts. This role involves generating demand and building a pipeline of accounts for the hotel, developing strong relationships, and managing new client accounts, revenue generation, local PR, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Business Development Director and General Manager to drive sales performance and manage the day-to-day activities of Sales Executives and M&E Sales. Proactively seek out new accounts for accommodation and conferences, increasing market share for the hotel. Manage and progress opportunities through the sales pipeline, coordinating support and driving activity. Ensure all clients are responded to promptly and effectively, serving as a key contact for bookers and agents within the corporate and conference sectors.
Key Performance Metrics:
Achieve monthly KPIs/appointment targets, monthly personal revenue target, and monthly Corporate and M&E budgets. Grow the new business pipeline, maintain the Sales database and systems, and fulfill the job skills checklist.
Salary Package:
The company offers a salary of £35,000 per annum plus bonus.
