Description of the Job:

As Behaviour Support Team Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of Internal Suspension, maintaining high conduct standards at Education Matters Group. You will work closely with the Behaviour Support team, coordinating their efforts to provide effective support for students.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the Behaviour Support team, ensuring they meet their objectives.
  • Arrange access to the National Curriculum for students on long-term relocation through collaboration with teachers.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of behaviour data to identify trends and areas for improvement, guiding staff and departmental decision-making.
  • Offer proactive assistance to staff when dealing with challenging student behaviour.
  • Verify the accuracy and timeliness of detention records, resolving any operational discrepancies promptly.
  • Co-ordinate the on-call schedule for the Behaviour Support team.

Essential Requirements:

Candidates should hold relevant qualifications and have received necessary training. This post is initially temporary, with possibilities for long-term conversion. Education Matters Group prioritizes safeguarding, mandating rigorous background checks for all employees and offering free safeguarding and Prevent Duty training. Qualified candidates can expect a generous compensation package, including a base salary of $52,000-$62,000 per year.
