About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour and Wellbeing Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the school's behaviour policy and strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our school community. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.

  • Leadership and Management:
    • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Staff Development:
    • Provide guidance and support to teaching and support staff on behaviour management practices.
    • Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance staff skills in managing student behaviour.
  • Student Support:
    • Work closely with students to understand and address behavioural issues.
    • Implement intervention strategies for students with challenging behaviour.
  • Parental and Community Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support student behaviour and wellbeing.
    • Organise and participate in school events and activities that promote positive behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
    • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a secondary school.
    • Excellent understanding of current educational policies and practices related to behaviour management.
    • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
