We are looking for two Simulation Technicians to join our team. Your post will sit within the School of Nursing and Allied Health, located on Tithebarn Street. You must be able to start at 8:30am or earlier if and when required. Occasional weekends for Open Days and other activities will also be required.

As a Simulation Technician, you will:

  1. Supervise and mentor team members, overseeing workflow tasks and monitoring performance and schedules.
  2. Resolve daily issues and provide first line support for computer-based clinical simulators and associated equipment.
  3. Prepare materials, models, equipment, and medical consumables that create and aid teaching content.
  4. Operate manikins, medical devices, trainers, and IT equipment, maintaining, servicing, and repairing hardware and software.
  5. Support Immersive Environment technology, VR, and specialist clinical equipment.

An HNC/HND or equivalent is essential, and previous technical experience in an Education or NHS environment with strong IT skills is necessary.
