Lead Care Service Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and caring leader to oversee our residential services in Herne, Kent.
As a Registered Manager at Lifestyles Community Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals and supporting staff to deliver exceptional care to our service users with physical and learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing care teams, overseeing medication management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your primary focus will be on promoting the well-being and safety of our service users, leading your team effectively, and contributing to the development of our services.
Job Requirements- To ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the needs and preferences of our service users.
- To manage and lead a team of care professionals, including nurses, carers, and support staff.
- To oversee the administration of medication, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- To develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- To promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the organization.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, such as NVQ Level 5 or higher.
- Significant experience of managing care teams, preferably in a residential setting.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, service users, and their families.
- A clear understanding of regulatory requirements, including the Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), and safeguarding processes.
- Competitive salary package (£35,000 - £45,000 per annum) dependent on experience.
