Job Summary

The University of Manchester is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Oral Health Research Specialist to contribute to the development, undertaking, and dissemination of evidence syntheses in oral health research.

About the Role

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with our team to inform policy and practice through high-quality evidence synthesis. You will be required to hold a relevant PhD (or equivalent) and have specialist knowledge in Evidence Synthesis, ideally in the field of oral health. Experience in using various software for producing evidence syntheses is also essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and develop systematic review protocols
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources
  • Develop and disseminate findings through academic publications and presentations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify areas for research and develop proposals

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology)
  • Specialist knowledge in Evidence Synthesis, preferably in oral health
  • Experience in using software for evidence synthesis (e.g., RevMan, Covidence)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
