Safety Management Systems Professional

Baines Simmons, leaders in aviation safety training and consultancy services, are seeking an exceptional Safety Management Systems Trainer to join their team.
This exciting role involves delivering training and consultancy services in your specialist area virtually or face-to-face, in-house globally, or at our Bracknell-based training Academy. As a key member of the SMS team, you will contribute to making a difference to Baines Simmons customers and our product offering.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Safety Management System (SMS) or implementing one, with a good understanding of the elements and benefits of an SMS and how it connects with an organisation.
Key responsibilities include

- Delivering training and consultancy services in your specialist area virtually or face-to-face, in-house globally, or at our Bracknell-based training Academy
- Contributing to making a difference to Baines Simmons customers and our product offering
- Working collaboratively with the SMS team to develop and implement effective SMS solutions
- Providing expert guidance on SMS best practices and regulatory requirements
- Facilitating workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and risk mitigation
The successful candidate will be able to connect with a group, facilitate a discussion, and lead clients to fully understand the regulatory requirements and latest safety thinking virtually or face-to-face. Practical experience of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment techniques, Occurrence Reporting, Safety Culture including Just Culture, and Safety Communications is essential. Experience of training or consulting is also required.
