Safety Equipment Technician

Role Description
The Safety Equipment Technician will be responsible for testing, repairing, and maintaining fall arrest and fall restraint equipment. This role requires a strong emphasis on health and safety, as well as quality control, to ensure that all equipment meets strict industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: You will execute various working at height projects according to job specifications, demonstrating your ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: You will follow method statements, risk assessments, and site-specific safety regulations, adhering to company and industry policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Problem Solving: You will analyse and resolve mechanical and technical problems effectively, showcasing your problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Safety-First Mentality: You will prioritise safety in all tasks and decisions, ensuring that you always adhere to the highest safety standards.
- Accurate Documentation: You will complete all PDA works accurately and promptly, demonstrating your attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Professional Communication: You will engage professionally with team members, site clients, and other contractors, representing PTSG Access & Safety with the highest standards.
- Team Collaboration: You will work effectively as part of the onsite team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Equipment Care: You will maintain company equipment and materials in excellent condition, ensuring that they are always ready for use.
- Professional Image: You will ensure that all corporate clothing is worn, and the PTSG van is kept clean and tidy, presenting a professional image at all times.
Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
About the Location
