Lift Equipment Technician Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lift Equipment Technician to install, maintain, and modernize lift equipment in the UK market.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on lift equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Install, maintain, and repair lift equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards through regular inspections and testing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and share knowledge and expertise to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Develop extensive product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new technologies, products, and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure timely submission and compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ3 or similar qualification in lift installation or maintenance.
  • Extensive product knowledge and practical experience in lift installation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with field tools and ability to work at heights.
  • Knowledge of safety components, safety-relevant subsystems, and system-related safety issues/hazards.
  • SAIS inspector certification and NVQ4 qualification in testing lifts (both new and existing equipment).

Benefits:

Competitive salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
