Job Overview

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced System Safety Professional to join their growing team. As a key member of the Systems Safety Team, you will be responsible for providing expert leadership and support in the development and management of internal System Safety processes and procedures, as well as key projects in the company's portfolio.

About the Role

  • Provide vital leadership and expert-level support to the development and management of SYSTRA's internal System Safety processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of System Safety strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with the Common Safety Method for Risk Evaluation and Assessment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on System Safety and represent SYSTRA in related matters.
  • Foster a culture of System Safety excellence within the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of experience in System Safety Engineering, with a focus on the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the CSM-REA and experience in its application.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and other SYSTRA offices, as required.
