Senior Physiotherapist Outpatients Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Therapy department at KIMS Hospital. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in assessing and treating outpatients, determining independent clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment indicated, and maintaining records in accordance with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assessments of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including those with complex presentations, using developed clinical reasoning gained through training and previous experience
- Formulate and deliver treatment and rehabilitation programmes based on clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice
- Assist in the support and development of more junior members of the team and participate in the development and review of service and professional standards within the department
- Contribute to the implementation of hospital policies and procedures in line with the CSP, CQC and other governing bodies
- Engage with other medical professionals both internally and externally, maintaining professional clinical relationships
Person Specification
- Be a qualified Physiotherapist
- Hold a valid registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent
- Minimum two years post graduate experience across MSK and Orthopaedic Outpatients
- Team player with desire to help develop others
- Patient focused with a desire to facilitate a collaborative culture within the department
- Be flexible to working patterns across weekdays and weekends, as the department operates across 7 days Inpatient and Outpatients
