About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Therapy department at KIMS Hospital. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in assessing and treating outpatients, determining independent clinical diagnoses and physiotherapy treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including those with complex presentations, using developed clinical reasoning gained through training and previous experience.
  • Formulate and deliver evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation programmes, taking into account individual patient needs and goals.
  • Support and develop junior members of the team, participating in the development and review of service and professional standards within the department.
  • Contribute to the implementation of hospital policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant governing bodies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with other medical professionals, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless care and communication.
Requirements
  • Be a qualified Physiotherapist with a valid registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
  • Hold a minimum of two years post-graduate experience in MSK and Orthopaedic Outpatients.
  • Demonstrate a strong team player mentality, with a desire to help develop others and facilitate a collaborative culture within the department.
  • Be flexible to working patterns across weekdays and weekends, as the department operates across 7 days Inpatient and Outpatients.
