Nuffield Health is currently recruiting for a Patient Services Officer to join their team in Brentwood. As a key member of the Outpatient Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure accurate and efficient processing of patient information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the Outpatient Department
- Liaising with patients, consultants and their secretaries, as well as other stakeholders
- Managing departmental call handling, treatment room scheduling, and minor-op activity
- Managing the OPD admin email inbox and responding to queries
- Maintaining accurate records on the bookings system
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organisational and analytical abilities. A good understanding of medical terminology is desirable but not essential.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer an estimated salary of £24,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
