Senior Administrative Assistant

Austin Fraser is currently recruiting for a skilled Administrative Coordinator to provide high-quality administrative support to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, creating documentation, and coordinating meetings. They will also provide secretarial support to fee-earners, handle telephone inquiries, and perform basic accounting transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Document Preparation: Prepare correspondence, reports, memos, forms, legal documents, and bills through audio dictation, manuscript, and precedents, adhering to our house style guide.
- Documentation Creation: Create and amend documentation such as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Oaths, and Affidavits, using instructions and extracts from precedents. Produce initial drafts and quality bound engrossments for client signature.
- Email Management: Prioritize and review incoming post/emails in the absence of the appropriate fee earner.
- Telephone Support: Handle telephone inquiries, resolving general queries, and providing updates on matters. Relay messages to clients and professionals on behalf of fee-earners.
- Filing and Administration: Coordinate meetings, maintain efficient filing systems, and handle file opening, closure, and deeds scheduling within the Group.
- Secretarial Support: Provide secretarial support to fee-earners during periods of sickness, annual leave, or heavy workload.
- Accounting Transactions: Perform basic accounting transactions and address account-related issues as needed.
- Training and Development: Attend group meetings and participate in training courses determined by the Group Head.
- Experienced Legal Secretary.
- IT skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Attention to detail is paramount and excellent spelling and grammar is essential.
- Experience in audio typing and case management systems would be an advantage.
- Strong administration with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with a great eye for detail.
- Professional, motivated, and personable.
The salary for this role is £28,000 - £31,000 per annum, offering a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for growth and development.
