Job Summary

S&P Consulting Services Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at a reputable private hospital in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with excellent administrative skills to work in a healthcare environment, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the hospital's services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support to the consultants and other members of the team to ensure all correspondence and referrals are prioritized and made in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Provide first contact to patients and public inquiries via telephone.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, including processing clinic and general correspondence and reports as required.
  • Electronic Booking System: Create, amend, delete appointments, and process client payments.
  • Client Files: Create and maintain client files, both electronic and paper, and ensure all test results and correspondence are filed accurately.
  • Post and Dispatch: Post, collect, open, date stamp, and distribute incoming post, and dispatch all appointment documentation.
  • Customer Service: Offer an outstanding customer service experience to patients and clients.
  • Team Support: Contribute fully to the team and the team goals, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Supervision: Supervise staff in lower grades and provide secretary support to the Hospital manager.
  • Meeting Minutes: Formally take minutes from a variety of board meetings.
