Child Health Nursing Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our esteemed school in Manchester as a Child Health Nursing specialist. We strive to provide exceptional care to our pupils, and we need an enthusiastic professional to contribute to this mission.

About the Role:
  1. Develop comprehensive plans for nursing care tailored to individual children's needs.
  2. Carry out detailed health checks on pupils who fall ill during the school day, utilizing expertise to implement prompt interventions.
  3. Dispense prescribed medication and document all relevant information according to NMC standards.
  4. Maintain strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and healthcare colleagues to enhance service quality and facilitate continuous improvement.
  5. Deliver Health Education sessions to students, collaborating with the PSHE program team.
Your Qualifications:
  • NMC PIN number.
  • A genuine interest in working with young people.
  • Experience as a school nurse, while not mandatory, would be advantageous.

  • A highly competitive salary range of £45,000-£60,000 per annum.
  • A term-time only contract, Monday to Friday.
