Estimated Salary

£30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This role involves working with adults aged 16-70 who are experiencing mental health issues, providing holistic and recovery-focused care in their homes.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and develop care plans in collaboration with clients and their carers.

You will also have opportunities to work with diverse clients, forge professional relationships with multi-agencies, and participate in quality-first line psychosocial assessments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Holding and managing a caseload of people and Care Coordinating responsibilities under the Care Program Approach Guidelines.
  • Assessing clients' needs, accessing community resources, and signposting to relevant services.
  • Developing and evaluating treatment programs, working collaboratively with clients and their carers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional qualification (RMN/OT/SW) and registration.
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting.

  • Competitive salary range: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum.
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years.
