">The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated History teachers, fostering collaboration, professional development, and a culture of high expectations. They will develop and implement a clear vision and curriculum for History, aligned with the school's overall goals and the National Curriculum.

- Lead a team of dedicated History teachers, fostering collaboration, professional development, and a culture of high expectations.">
- Monitor and track student progress, identifying and supporting those who need extra help.">
- Oversee the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment within the History department.">
- Contribute to the wider leadership team of the school.">
- Represent the History department at school events and within the wider educational community.">
Requirements
">We are looking for a qualified History Teacher with a minimum of 5 years' successful teaching experience, including significant leadership experience within a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of raising standards and improving student outcomes in History, excellent subject knowledge, and a passion for inspiring the next generation of historians.
">Salary and Benefits
">This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a thriving History department in a prestigious and high-achieving independent girls' school. We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
