About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a rigorous and engaging history curriculum. You will teach history lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, support and develop other history teachers, and represent the history department at school events and meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a history curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Teach history lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, promoting engagement and enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Support and develop other history teachers, helping them to improve their practice and confidence.
  • Represent the history department at school events and meetings, promoting the subject and its importance in the curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a degree in history, QTS or PGCE, 5+ years of teaching experience, and experience of leading a history department. Salary and Benefits
