Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished History Teacher to join our esteemed educational institution in Wokingham. As a key member of the history department, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of engaging and challenging lessons that inspire young historians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic history lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment criteria for history, informing teaching practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole-school training events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new curriculum materials and effective teaching strategies.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Degree in History or a closely related subject.
  • Proven experience in teaching history at secondary school level.
  • Passion for history and education.
