Adaptive History Curriculum Developer

We are seeking an innovative and adaptable History Curriculum Developer to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a specialist in developing engaging and inclusive history lessons, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students with diverse learning abilities.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging history lessons that cater to the unique needs of our students. This will involve adapting the curriculum to make it accessible and meaningful for learners with varying abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering creative, interactive, and student-centered history lessons
  • Fostering a love for history and encouraging critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Collaborating with the SEN team to share best practices and strategies

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a background in history teaching
  • Experience in SEN or adapting content for varying abilities
  • Strong skills in innovation and creativity
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
