About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Programme Manager to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Strategy Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of strategies that transform healthcare in North West London.

Key Responsibilities

As a Strategic Programme Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating complex ICS-wide projects with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Formulating hypotheses to support the development of ICS strategies and developing approaches to prove or disprove these hypotheses
  • Supporting strategic prioritisation activities through the use of health economics methodologies
  • Preparing presentations, papers, and reports for varied audiences

About the Team

You will be working closely with our Executive Director of Strategy and Population Health and the Head of Strategy to support on various projects, including the urgent and emergency care strategy, the Joint Forward Plan development, and the planned care strategy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture
  • Up-to-date understanding of the NHS, including its organisation, policy developments, and the health equity agenda
  • Strong ability to implement evidence-backed good practice health economic methodologies
  • Ability to develop written materials that convey complex technical concepts in a clear and easily-digestible manner
