Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Director to join our team at Understanding Recruitment NFP. As a Programme Director, you will play a key role in the strategic delivery of programmes throughout our digital transformation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Director who is looking to work with a leading recruitment agency in the UK's public sector. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from delivering new digital services to migrating to the cloud and implementing ERP systems.

As a Programme Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and managing multi-million pound programmes. You will need to have excellent leadership and project management skills, as well as a strong understanding of the public sector and its challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals in the delivery of programmes and projects
  • Manage multi-million pound programmes and budgets
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for programme delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful programme outcomes
  • Monitor and report on programme progress and performance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme management and leadership
  • Strong understanding of the public sector and its challenges
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multi-million pound programmes and budgets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
