Rail Infrastructure Cost Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our dynamic team delivering major infrastructure projects in the rail sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing costs and contracts throughout the project life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation and Management: Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
  • Contract Review and Financial Management: Review contracts and ensure effective financial management to prevent costly errors and disputes.
  • Cost Analysis and Performance Tracking: Conduct regular cost analysis to track project performance and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor accounts, including procurement, valuations, and payments.
  • Financial Reporting and Risk Identification: Provide accurate financial reporting, highlighting any risks or opportunities for cost savings.
  • Liaison with Project Managers and Stakeholders: Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any financial or contractual issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the rail, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Contract Management and Construction Processes: Strong understanding of contract management and construction processes.
  • Financial Acumen: Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze and manage costs effectively.
