You're an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, always looking for opportunities to innovate and improve. At Dorothy House, we're seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Assistant Manager to join our Malmesbury team.

About the Role

  1. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for creating a seamless shopping experience for our customers, donors, and volunteers.
  2. Manage and motivate the store team to consistently deliver exceptional standards, ensuring our store remains a destination for our customers.
  3. Ensure efficient stock control, rotation, and organization of all stock, maintaining adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  4. Support the training, motivation, and management of volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to provide outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  5. Actively recruit and encourage volunteering within your shop, maintaining a volunteer rota to ensure shop trading at all published times.
  6. Identify and recommend areas for improvement, driving continuous growth and excellence within the team.
  7. Deliver accurate and proper financial procedures, banking, and administration as required by Dorothy House.
  8. Participate in education, training, development, and appraisal, attending meetings as necessary.
