We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Shop Manager to join our team at Dorothy House Hospice in Malmesbury.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position, with a contracted 7.5 hours per week, 1 day out of 7. Regular weekend working is required. As a Deputy Shop Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in leading the store team, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist the Shop Manager in managing the store's daily operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including sales data, customer information, and staff performance.
- Collaborate with the Shop Manager to develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good standard of maths and English.
