Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Purpose of the job:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Co-ordinator to work within our client’s business, focused on the day-to-day management of their supply chain operation. This is a Global Brand so it is a key role ensuring strategic supply chain plans are met. You will be pivotal in managing contracts and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met for our client. You will be responsible for managing the processes to insure an uninterrupted flow of retail goods and services.
- **Please note that this opportunity is based 5 days a week in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, UK**
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain performance and improve cost efficiency.
- Developing and executing supply chain strategies to align with business goals.
- Monitoring supply chain activities and making strategic decisions with internal and external stakeholders
- Developing, owning, and monitoring NPD projects with key stakeholders and supply chain. Highlight risk to internal stakeholders throughout the timeline of each project
- Establishing standards and procedures to ensure products are produced efficiently and effectively.
- Preparing reports on supply chain activities to assist management in making effective business decisions.
- Manage the purchasing process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies, create internal timelines from development through to rollout.
- Ensuring that all aspects of the supply chain comply with MSA and SOW contracts.
- Ensuring that all aspects of the supply chain comply with Global Standards
- Liaise with markets on their forecasted usage to ensure optimal production levels and reduce waste. Communicate this forecast with global vendors and align with timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and finance, to ensure that supply chain activities align with business goals and objectives.
- Manage logistics and distribution processes, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on supply chain performance, including inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience:
- Experience within a similar supply chain position is essential
- Experience as a coordinator or administrator within a supply chain function
- Understanding of contracts within supply chain and how to ensure KPIs are met
- Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in Retail
- Strong knowledge of procurement relevant to a in store retail environment
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
