**What is the role?**

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Customer Care Team, undertaking a variety of maintenance and repair works throughout the Oxfordshire and Wiltshire region. The role reports to the Customer Care Operations Manager and Head of Customer Care.

The purpose of the role is to provide a variety of high-quality remedial and maintenance works for customers in their new homes, providing maintaining high standards of customer experience.

**The role will include**:

- Travel throughout the Oxfordshire and Wiltshire area to a small number of dedicated active and completed sites
- Undertaking a variety of works across multiple disciplines including painting and decorating, kitchen fitting, dry lining and plastering, ceramic tiling, etc
- Working in both unfinished plots and occupied customer’ homes
- Provide quality remedial works, ensuring compliance under the Persimmon Pledge and Customer Care Policies and Procedures.
- Minimise costs associated with remedial works and adhere to the sign-off and cost recording policies, identify all contra-charging opportunities.
- Undertaking property inspections and providing detailed reports
- Complete all required online reporting via the Operative App on smartphone/tablet, facilitating accurate record keeping of defect resolution and root cause analysis.
- Liaise and work collaboratively with and monitor subcontractors where appropriate
- Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout team

**What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?**
- A background in a core trade such as joinery, kitchen fitting, painting and decorating, etc
- Experience, competence and initiative in a variety of maintenance disciplines
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent customer facing ability and people skills
- First Aid qualification would be advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
