Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Specification Manager to join our dynamic team, responsible for championing Lightnet solutions through a consultative approach, cultivating relationships with network partners, and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, lighting designers, and consultants to promote Lightnet solutions.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, engaging with key decision-makers to drive sales growth.
  • Specification Management
    • Champion Lightnet solutions through a consultative approach, ensuring alignment with customer needs and preferences.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to oversee projects from specification to order, commissioning, and sign-off.
  • Relationship Building
    • Cultivate and fortify relationships with network partners, fostering long-term collaboration and driving business growth.
  • Market Knowledge
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to inform business strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of robust specification experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding challenging targets.
  • Skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Profound knowledge of LED lighting and controls applications, with a strong familiarity with Lightnet's product and solutions portfolio.
    • Flexible, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
