Job Title: Clinical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team at Saint Francis Hospice. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting and monitoring safe and effective practice within the Referrals Hub.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote and monitor safe and effective practice within the Referrals Hub.
  • Enhance the service user experience by providing effective leadership and collaborative team working.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the organization's objectives and strategy.

The successful candidate will have significant clinical senior level experience, a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area of work, and evidence of knowledge and practical application of team leadership. They will also have experience of mentoring and supervising senior level nursing posts, coordinating an effective duty rota, and supporting and developing others through an appraisal process.

Requirements:
  • Qualified clinical professional with current registration and evidence of PIN/Registration.
  • Significant clinical senior level experience.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in relevant area of work.
  • Evidence of knowledge and practical application of team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work under pressure and prioritize constantly changing, high volume workloads. They will also have advanced symptom control knowledge and complex case management experience.
