Job Title: Technical Support

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support contractor to join our team at Proactive Appointments. As a Technical Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve client satisfaction and reduce support requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:

  • Recent hands-on experience in a technical support environment
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming languages like Java
  • Knowledge of web applications stack and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal commitment to quality and customer service
