Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily treatment sessions to seniors, including transfers, exercises, and activities
  • Billing and documentation of services rendered using Net Health (formerly Optima HCS)
  • Discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions to home or other care settings
  • Supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Certification from NBCOT
  • State license for the state in which services are being provided
  • CPR certification
