Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team in our 4-red-star Hotel and Spa based near Keswick, Cumbria.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operations at our hotel. You would be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction through efficient and effective housekeeping practices.

Working hours will be between 8am - 4pm, 5 days a week and will include some weekend work on a rota basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Train, motivate, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to established policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests and maintenance issues

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality management is required
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in the hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management
- Proficient in using computer systems for inventory management and scheduling

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
