Senior PMO Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior PMO Professional to join one of the world's leading media and entertainment groups. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the PMO function and implement strategic governance controls for major capital and operational business programmes.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop the PMO function to support operational and capital transformation projects, focusing on efficiency gains and business outcomes.
  2. Implement consistent project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and reporting tools to ensure effective programme delivery, aligning with business objectives.
  3. Provide guidance and assurance on programme and project management processes, tools, and techniques, enhancing team capabilities and confidence, and promoting best practices.
  4. Monitor and report on programme/project progress, performance, and deliverables, using data insights to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
  5. Oversee project costs and support financial control processes, ensuring prudent expenditure and resource allocation, and minimising risks.
  6. Embed risk management and change control processes, escalating issues when necessary to mitigate risks and delays, and maintain a proactive approach to programme management.
  7. Track dependencies across programme and project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall objectives and prioritisation, and avoiding conflicts and delays.
  8. Maintain and enhance portfolio-wide reporting, including benefits tracking and realisation, providing stakeholders with accurate and timely information, and enabling informed strategic decisions.
  9. Support capacity, financial, and resource planning aligned with long-range portfolio objectives, facilitating informed strategic decisions, and ensuring the right resources are allocated at the right time.
Key Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3+ years' experience in PMO roles within major capital or operational business programmes, delivering complex projects and portfolios, and achieving significant results.
  2. Proven expertise developing & leading PMO functions, implementing governance, and driving strategic initiatives, yielding tangible results and improvements, and demonstrating expertise in these areas.
  3. Strong track record in risk management, reporting, and benefits realisation, showcasing expertise and credibility in these areas, and consistently delivering high-quality results.
  4. Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with ability to adapt and apply them effectively, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  5. Effective communication and leadership skills to engage stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and driving shared goals, and promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.

**Estimated Salary:** £75,000 - £85,000 + Benefits
