Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop a robust governance framework, ensuring compliance with charity legislation and best practice.
  • Organise and chair governance meetings, setting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes in the not-for-profit sector, applying this knowledge to ensure effective governance practices.
  • Facilitate risk management processes, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a culture of good governance within our organisation, promoting transparency and accountability.

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in a governance role, preferably within a not-for-profit environment.
  • An excellent understanding of regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
