Advanced Clinical Role

We are excited to offer an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner role at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will deliver an advanced level of clinical practice within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

The ANNP will work under the direction of the Lead Consultant Neonatologist, exercising independent judgement to assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the clinical care and management of premature, sick babies and their families.

This is a junior ANNP post requiring a Master's degree in Neonatology. The post holder will contribute to the neonatal Tier 1 (SHO/ST1-3) doctors' rota and join a team of 3 other ANNPs in NICU.

The Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner crosses the clinical boundaries between nursing and medical care, using advanced clinical knowledge and skills to work independently.
