Imaging Care Specialist

Transforming patient care is a top priority for the Transformation Unit. As an Imaging Care Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective care strategies for patients undergoing imaging procedures.
To excel in this role, flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as proven experience working in acute healthcare settings and strong computer skills.
The post holder will be required to travel between different sites based on a rotational schedule, ensuring seamless care delivery across various locations.
In the event of an emergency, such as a fire alarm or cardiac arrest, it is crucial to remain vigilant and react promptly.
You will be responsible for administering barium enema catheters while maintaining the health and safety of patients and identifying when referrals to other practitioners are necessary.
Key Requirements- NVQ 2 in Healthcare or QCF Diploma in Health Level 2, or equivalent qualification in the area of specialty, or relevant working experience.
- Familiarity with Manual Handling of patients, including the use of lifting aids.
- A professional demeanor and approach, which we welcome in applicants from diverse backgrounds.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
