In this role as a Screening Practitioner for Colorectal Care at NHS, you will be part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive bowel cancer screening services. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to travel between multiple locations.

Main Duties
  • To apply an in-depth knowledge and enhanced communication skills with patients and carers when breaking bad news and providing psychological support on diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management.
  • Establish effective links with local colorectal cancer multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely presentation and transfer of patients when cancer is detected.
Person Specification
  • Registered healthcare professional with diploma-level education.
  • Aware of national screening and cancer agenda and changes to improve cancer services.
  • Evidence of having worked with or showing interest in patients with lower GI disease or cancer.
Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £52,000 per annum
