About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Compass, a leading provider of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in education settings. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with mental health needs, working closely with schools and colleges to provide early intervention and prevention services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
  • Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
  • Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a core professional qualification relevant to mental health, such as CWP, IAPT, PMHW, nursing with specialism in mental health or learning disability nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a Professional qualification relevant to mental health CBT therapist. You will also need to have evidence of continued professional development and a willingness to study further if required.
