About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialty Doctor to join our team at Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, holistic care to patients and their families, and contribute to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and guidance to junior medical team members, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical governance processes, participating in patient safety activities, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the medical team at external meetings and contribute to service development within local systems.
  • Participate in educational programs for multidisciplinary health professionals, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Education team to deliver teaching and training to a wider audience.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Eligibility for full registration with, and current license to practice from the GMC.
  • Evidence of achievement of foundation competencies from a UKFPO-affiliated foundation program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years full-time postgraduate medical experience, with at least 2 years in Palliative Medicine or an allied specialty.
  • Experience in teaching, clinical audit, and electronic patient record systems.
