Job Title: HR Manager

MacGregor Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. As a specialist recruiter for the Fenestration sector, we are recruiting for a HR Manager on behalf of an established and highly successful manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors based in the Bradford/Huddersfield area of West Yorkshire.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled HR Manager to support our client in driving business performance and mitigating disputes. The successful candidate will have previous HR generalist experience and a Level 5 CIPD qualification. Experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a wide range of HR projects, including appraisals, job descriptions, employee engagement, and a new company-wide training program.
  • Review HR policies and processes, implementing change where necessary to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Manage employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and retirement.
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and best practice.
  • Help migrate payroll to the HR team and work with partners on the reward strategy.
  • Manage talent and succession planning and support the recruitment and selection process.

Requirements:

  • Previous HR generalist experience and Level 5 CIPD qualification.
  • Experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, change management, and a solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
  • Exceptional organisational, time management, people, and communication skills.
  • A proactive team player with analytical, problem-solving skills, and a strong customer service approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy as well as part of a team.

Package: Up to £40k DOE. Please note that the role will be a site-based role, and manufacturing sector experience is essential.
