Human Resources Director

The Head of People will provide strategic leadership to the Human Resources department in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will drive initiatives that foster a culture that promotes company values and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team to drive business outcomes.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and employee engagement.
- Assess training needs and monitor training programs to upskill the workforce.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and analytics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and maintain a positive employer brand.
- Design and implement company policies and procedures to support business objectives.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in human resources, preferably in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including talent management and performance tracking.
- Ability to architect strategy and lead cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
- Experience of partnering with a large workforce at an operational and strategic level.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field, such as Business Administration or Organizational Development.
