Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Activity Programme Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that guests have access to a range of leisure activities, promoting independence, choice, and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and deliver a variety of activities, including handicrafts, games, quizzes, cooking, and reading.
  • Support guests to participate in activities, recognising and maximising their strengths, abilities, and skills.
  • Accompany guests on outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist guests with budgeting, life skills, and other tasks as required.
  • Contribute to care plans, focusing on individual progression, development, and fulfilment.
  • Assist with risk assessments, ensuring activities are safe and suitable for guests.
  • Report incidents and maintain accurate records, adhering to confidentiality policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure the best possible experience for guests.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to supporting guests with varying needs and abilities. They will be flexible, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
