Job Title: Care and Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care and Activities Coordinator to join our team at Careline Lifestyles. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have access to a range of leisure activities that cater to their interests and abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support guests to lead as full a life as possible by regularly assessing their skills, abilities, and preferences.
  2. Organise and facilitate a variety of activities, including handicrafts, games, quizzes, cooking, and reading, to promote socialisation, independence, and personal growth.
  3. Accompany guests on outings and provide support as needed to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
  4. Offer assistance and support to guests who require it, whether it be with budgeting, life skills, or other areas of their lives.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each guest.
  6. Ensure that all activities are safe and well-planned, and that risk assessments are carried out as necessary.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guest activities and progress.
  8. Report any changes in guest condition or incidents to the Manager or Senior Care on duty.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
