Assistant Headteacher: Quality of Education Leader

About the Role
The Assistant Headteacher will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for leading the development and implementation of the school's education strategy. They will work closely with the senior leadership team, teachers, and support staff to ensure that the school provides a high-quality education to its students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a clear education strategy that aligns with the school's vision and values.
- Lead the development and implementation of the curriculum, ensuring that it is relevant, engaging, and meets the needs of all students.
- Work with teachers and support staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality education.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of education, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to ensure that the school's education strategy is aligned with the overall vision and goals of the school.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including local authorities, other schools, and education providers.
- Ensure that the school's education provision is inclusive and meets the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to education.
Qualifications and Experience
- QTS
- Bachelors Degree
About Us
Brookthorpe Hall School is a specialist provision providing full-time specialized co-education for young people aged 7 to 16 with a range of complex needs, communication difficulties, and associated challenging behavior. This may include social, emotional, and mental health needs and also pupils who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviors associated with autism.
