Job Description

This is a leadership position focused on supporting the Senior Vice Principal for Safeguarding across all schools in London and Essex.

The Deputy Safeguarding Manager will be responsible for safeguarding, including liaison with external agencies, responding to concerns as they arise, compiling reports and attending meetings.

Responsibilities include:

  • supporting staff inductions and training
  • oversight of all pupils who are CP/CIN/CLA
  • attending conferences and meetings and leading on safeguarding concerns and referrals.

The ideal candidate will have successful experience as a leader in a challenging setting, outstanding experience as a D/DSL and leader, fully-qualified social worker / DSL-level safeguarding training and at least a good first degree in or related to a core subject.
