About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health social work and experience in assessing individuals under the Mental Health Act. You will be accountable for managing a complex workload, including assessments, reports and presentations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Development:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to AMHPs, contributing to the development of best practice standards.
  • Accountable for assessments undertaken under the Mental Health Act, ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational standards.
  • Manage a complex workload, maintaining accurate and timely data, reports and presentations as required.
